New Pool Leader and Probable $10,000 Qualifier in Week 11 of the Monday Night Ticket Score

The week 11 winner in the 2017 Monday Night Ticket Score (MNTS) narrowly missed a perfect prediction but still likely earned a $10,000 berth, and there's a new 2017 pool leader as the Atlanta Falcons beat the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

Congratulations to fan JTtrout, whose 33-31 prediction was the best of the week and one of only eight submitted by fans to match at least one team's score. He wins this week's $5 Mega credit valid toward any tickets on our site. More importantly, he posted the second highest weekly winning score of the season, which stands a good chance of holding up and earning him one of 10 berths for fans to play for $10,000 during the Super Bowl. (The fans with the five highest weekly winning scores are guaranteed a $10K chance, along with the season and quarterly winners.) It's JTtrout's first career weekly win in 26 tries.

Q3, Overall Standings and Mega Pool Impact
The new overall leader is fan Daddy Rick, who jumps from 4th place into a 31.2 point lead. He also takes the Q3 lead by one point over redskinsrule and JTtrout. Previous Q3 leader TADY4580 drops to 5th. Kenny Powers' 45-ish point lead in the 2017 Mega Pool held steady again.

How Does it Compare to Other Games?
Based on combined median (8.0) and average (8.4) prediction differentials, this was the third most difficult game to predict in the 2017 pool.  In the pool's 11 year history, 14% of weekly winners have matched one team's score and been exactly one point off the other team's.

The game's spread fluctuated dramatically in the final minutes before kickoff. After being favored all week, the Seahawks actually became one point underdogs about 10 minutes before the game began. Eventually, it settled as a pick 'em game, which is a zero point spread. The average score predictions of Seattle 24.4, Atlanta 24.2 reflect the public's overall expectations.
