How Fans are Combining Live Entertainment with Fantasy Sports and Office Pools

SecondTicket 2019 Preview and 2018 Recap

2018 was a record year for SecondTicket, thanks to you, our ever-growing fan community and corporate clients. We sold more tickets than ever before, and our exclusive presentation of The Mega Pool continued attracting new customers and fans. We are excited for more growth again in 2019.

WHY SECONDTICKET?
The evolution of ticket technology during our 11 years in business has amplified demand for professional expertise before making a purchase. As new marketplaces such as SeatGeek, Vivid Seats and TickPick emerge as competition to Stubhub and Ticketmaster, and as pricing and delivery methods become more sophisticated across the ticketing spectrum, fans increasingly want to talk to someone they can trust before investing in tickets.

We will always help you identify the best values and are not afraid to recommend buying tickets on a different site. Most of them provide a good end-user experience and protection.

However...

BIG NEWS: ANNOUNCING NO SERVICE FEES IN 2019!
But our unique marketplace generally features much of the same ticket supply as those websites, and in our ongoing effort to improve your online experience, we're eliminating service fees in 2019. The list price you see for tickets is now the price you pay (plus delivery and tax, if applicable).

But actually, that's not quite true… because if you have won credits in a SecondTicket pool, the price you see is NOT the price you pay! You'll actually pay less! Which brings us to…

THE 2018 AND 2019 MEGA POOL
The two biggest differentiators between SecondTicket.com and other ticket marketplaces are our personal service and the most valuable loyalty program in the industry. Flash sales or discount offers from most sites generally save you 5-10% and are for limited times when you may not need tickets. But the average savings among SecondTicket fans who have redeemed credits in our 11 year history is 13%, and credits you win are valid for at least six months. Fans won more than $3,700 in credits in 2018 alone, and the general credit structure won't change in 2019 (although it will change slightly for The Monday Night Ticket Score).

We are, however, continuing to adjust the point structure to make The Mega Pool as competitive as possible. Points available in the WayCool Super Ticket Pool will be doubled in 2019, and points available in the All-Star Ticket Slam and Monday Night Ticket Score are being reduced by 40% and 25%, respectively.

Finally, a big congratulations to The 2018 Mega Pool champion, hanna, who scored a huge victory in the All-Star Ticket Slam and a strong 13th place finish in the Monday Night Ticket Score to win the 6th annual year-long challenge. A Jets and Yankees fan who admits to not watching much football, she overcame a slow start in the WayCool Super Ticket Pool and Bracket Challenge Ticket Jam to claim the $250 Grand Prize.

The WayCool Super Ticket Pool is now open (here's the pool preview), so make your picks now and good luck! We look forward to helping you again in 2019!
